Interviewed by: Angela Bean
Q: What's your name and where do
you come from?
A: Darrell Bear Willis. I came to Staunton,
Virginia from West Chester County, New York.
Q:
What inspires you?
A:
Angela Bean inspires me. People facing difficulties and overcoming them.
Q: What is your goal in life?
A: Speak out against injustice whenever
I see it. Always try to make people's situations better.
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: All kinds of fishing, socializing,
cooking, women, reading, writing.
Q: What is your philosophy on life?
A: What might be right for me may not
be for others, never hurt a child, to live love and spread happiness and if that don't work I'll just bite you. LOL.
Q: Would you rather live in the city
or country & why?
A: The country. Even though I love the
city if I had enough money I'd live in the country. It's beautiful in the country and you can have tons of animals, of course
not to forget lots of fishing.
Q: What's one thing you've always
wanted to do & why?
A: Go to Vegas to have fun. Own a farm
so I can have lots of animals.
Q: What's one thing you like about
Staunton, Virginia?
A: A very rustic community. It's a throwback.
It's got a lot of old shops and old history.
Q: What do you like about living
in downtown Staunton, Virginia?
A: I feel like I'm in New York. Some
of the greatest books were written by writer's who were staying in the YMCA in New York a long time ago. One thing about where
I live is I look out my window and see another building, that's one reason it reminds me of being in New York.
